Sellers, items and timing slips to sort out before paying Superbuy
Most delays happen before a paid clock starts, and most lost payouts come from small timing slips. These checks cover both.
Four checks for any Superbuy Spreadsheet site
What makes a useful spreadsheet site is upkeep: a catalogue is only as good as its maintenance. Look for dated sources: does the site say when it last checked a price or a rule? Look for links to the original article rather than paraphrase. Click a few product cards and see how many still open a live listing.
Then apply the same test to this site. Every rule here carries a Superbuy article number and a read date; if you find one that no longer matches the article, the site has fallen behind and you should say so.
Seller distance and the wait before any paid clock
Vetting sellers for speed matters because seller speed is the one delay no penalty covers. Help 1203 expects Taobao sellers to ship within 3 to 7 days, and Guangzhou sellers to reach the warehouse in 1 to 2 working days against 3 to 5 elsewhere. A seller near the warehouse saves days before any paid clock starts.
Pre-sale, deposit and customised items are excluded from the agents’ follow-up schedule, so a slow pre-sale may go unchased. If the listing says pre-sale, assume the shipping date is the seller’s and plan any paid photos for after arrival.
Three written things to ask of any agent
Trusting an agent comes down to three things in writing. A named operating company, with an address and a registration number you could check. Stated times for the steps you care about. And a stated consequence when those times are missed, even a modest one.
Superbuy meets all three for its paid add-ons and two of three for its purchasing standard. Whichever agent you use, keep the article number for any promise you rely on; it makes a support conversation short.
Matching an item to the check it needs
Deciding what to order is partly deciding which check you will pay for. Some items need a paid check more than others. Anything with a plug needs the 3C power check. Anything sized without a size mark is worth a detailed inspection, which help 1390 recommends for exactly that case. Anything sealed needs thought before any photo, because opening the seal is the default.
Measurements arrive inside a detailed photo order. Help 1112 says the warehouse uses wooden rulers, soft tape or steel tape depending on the item, and will use the one you name if you ask.
Five checks before the payment button
Check the item’s page and your order screen for the warehouse before you pay for extras: Hong Kong services carry no penalty. Buy photo and inspection services early enough that their 24 hours end inside the 5-day return window. Check your messages early in the UK day, when a “pending confirmation” can still be answered within Beijing working hours.
Superbuy’s counterfeit item policy (help 3464) asks buyers not to purchase listings that imitate brand-name goods and to report them; its terms also leave buyers responsible for meeting their own country’s rules.
Three slips that turn a late service into an excluded one
The first is buying a service and then going quiet. A warehouse question that waits for your answer removes the payout, however long it takes. The second is treating a UK bank holiday as relevant; only Chinese public holidays count.
The third is counting on the wrong clock. A detailed photo bought at checkout is due 24 hours after the item arrives, not after you paid, so it can look days late when it is on time.
Ready to order? Search the catalogue, then add the checks that fit the item.
